When discussing sake, one must not forget the essence of Japanese cuisine. Japan has four distinct seasons, each contributing to its unique natural environment, food culture, and sake culture. Having lived abroad and experienced the food cultures of many different countries, I have developed a renewed appreciation for Japan’s food culture.
